Sometimes it is a conversation, sometimes a grant application. Building a network of incredibly talented scientists starts with curiosity and goals. Whether it is getting people involved in a project, asking for advice, or sometimes just listening to me complain, these folks help shape the narrative of my science. And I am just grateful to have them cheering me on.
To do something familiar and succeed is no surprise, but to try something new and fail--why, that is the start of an adventure.
